Trail funding Champaign
PRESS RELEASE:

What/Why?
In British Columbia, the economic shockwave of the ongoing global pandemic has stripped many trail building and advocacy organizations of their main sources of funding. At this time, trail use and mountain biking are experiencing unprecedented growth and associations are struggling to keep up with the consequences of increased users, so we figure it is the opportune moment to host a fundraiser and help five trail associations in need. Mountain biking has provided us with some of our fondest memories and greatest friends, but without trails, none of this would have been possible. Our lives have been transformed by trails. If you've had a similar experience, or just want a chance to win a sweet bike, please donate now!

BC Singletrack Society is about raising funds in various ways to be able to give back to these communities that continually give to all of us as mountain bikers. We normally raise funds through event, but without any events in 2020 (with the uncertainty continuing into 2022) we figured we would start off 2021 with this champaign and do something good for these selected communities and support their trail maintenance and building as we go into our 2021 summer of riding.
All proceeds from this campaign will go to funding trail building/maintenance and will be split evenly between 5 trail advocacy organizations across British Columbia, Canada: Whistler Off Road Cycling Association, Columbia Valley Cycling Society, Bridge River Valley Community Association, Cowichan Trails Stewardship Society and Smithers Mountain Bike Association.
As a thanks for your support, several biking industry brands have pitched in some prizes to give away. So the more you donate the more chances you have of being selected to win some great prizes up for grabs! This champaign ends on February 23, 2021
Our goal is to reach $25,000 to divide between the above organizations - we can do this!
